From the couple: 

I have been a crazy Disney fan since I was a kid. Cinderella inspired me and touched my heart in ways that can’t even be imagined. I always went by “A dream is a wish your heart makes and if you keep on believing the dream that you wish will come true”. My wedding theme was final in my head the day I met my Prince Charming.

Theme:

I had a Cinderella costume on and he was more charming than a prince which you can see in our San Francisco City Hall wedding Photography. The flowers sure were a very important part of the wedding. We had corsages for the whole wedding party. The groom’s corsage had flowers from my bridal bouquet which was made from scratch by my lovely bridesmaids. Mothers and Fathers of Bride and Groom, Best man, Bride’s brother Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen rocked the corsages on their amazing dresses and suits.

The Big Day:

Family is the most important part of our fairytale. We had our entire family in the room that day. Some very important people were really missed though. I believe this was the best highlight of the day. Having the people we love who made our fairytale successful stand with us and share the best moment of our lives with us. As I said “Cinderella” is my favorite fairytale. This is why it had to be a Disney themed wedding. I had a blue Cinderella costume on with glass slippers, he was wearing a grey suit with a dashing blue tie whereas others were slaying the theme “blue”.

Personal Touches:

I had my Something Old (My hair accessory), Something new (My Shoes), Something Borrowed( My mother’s jewelry), Something Blue (the whole family was dressed in blue + my dress) and there was a sixpence in my shoe. We met through a dating site (Ok Cupid). The first guy I went on a date with and we clicked. Belonging to the same hometown we had tons to talk about which had our 1st ever phone call go for 3 hours and 1st date more than 12 hours long.

The Proposal

He proposed to me after a romantic date which was the same place where we had our 1st date (it was soooo special as I was having a really bad day) and also a grand proposal on Valentine’s day which felt like a dream. I must say “I FOUND MY PRINCE CHARMING”. My favorite part of the day,  It was when our dads signed for us as witnesses and our moms were all teared up with love and pride in their eyes. After all, it was their moment too as their babies were starting a new journey.

Also, one of the most special moments for me was also when my brother kept looking at me like, “there is our princess, so happy, living her dream but having a constant thought in mind i.e. ‘Hey Mister! Take care of my sister, I am giving her to you with a hope that you will keep her happy and protect her as we have!'”.
