We have collections to accommodate both smaller and larger wedding services including elopements taking in other locations around the Bay Area.
If you are doing a first look, arriving anywhere between 3-4 hours before the ceremony start time is a good idea. If you are NOT doing a first look, 90-120 minutes before the ceremony is perfect.
What is the style of your photography?
We use style & storytelling techniques to give your imagery a fine art feeling. The end result will be a mixture of crafted imagery with journalistic embellishments. For the portraits, we will guide you into incredible natural lighting with organic poses that create balanced compositions.
How do we secure Jonathon?
Jonathon photographs the Model X collection from the photo pricing guide. For all other events, his associate shooters, who have been trained extensively in his style, photograph in his place based on Collection choice & their availability. They use the same cameras, same lenses, & the same technique/approach on the wedding to ensure the style is consistent with what you have seen. Jonathon also hand-edits each wedding at Apollo Fotografie to give each wedding a final magical touch.
Who photographed these images on the website?
The sample images you have seen throughout the website & in the extended galleries we sent out before your consultation were photographed by all of the photographers on the team. Because everyone shoots in the same style & technique & uses the same gear, we can ensure there is consistency between each wedding we photograph collectively. This also ensures if you have two photographers at your wedding, they are shooting in the same style to give you a cohesive collection throughout the day.
When should we book you?
Most couples book our photography services 12-15 months before their wedding date to guarantee a spot in our calendar. For videography, generally 6-9 months prior to the wedding day is ideal.
How does the shot list work?
We have an internal shot list that we use that works for us with all of the typical shots you would expect to be taken at a wedding. You will provide us with a list of important family members, & your “VIP” photo moments from the day that are most precious to you. You may also give us a Pinterest board with some photo inspiration for poses or compositions that you like.
What service area do you cover?
We are San Francisco wedding photographers, first & foremost. However, we also travel all over the Bay Area including, but not limited to, Sacramento, San Jose, Carmel, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, Napa & Sonoma Counties. We are also available for travel worldwide!
