THE WEDDING DAY
Their overall style was romantic and modern with a whimsical edge for the stunning Everline Resort wedding. A palette of whites and lush greenery, accented with soft blues that echoed the Tahoe sky, brought everything together beautifully. Because every event took place outdoors, the scenery was intentionally allowed to shine, with décor used as subtle, thoughtful accents. The ceremony took place on a golf course nestled in a Tahoe valley, where the mountains created a breathtaking natural backdrop. As evening fell, the outdoor reception transformed under string lights and glowing trees, creating a magical, intimate atmosphere.
Florals played a meaningful role throughout the day. The designs focused on whites and greenery with delicate pops of blue, tying the entire weekend together. Holli wore a bold statement boutonniere on her lapel, while Cat carried a deeply personal bouquet that incorporated lace from both her mother’s and grandmother’s wedding dresses—a detail that made the moment even more emotional to photograph. Their immediate family wore boutonnieres and wrist corsages, and a romantic floral arch framed the ceremony. Florals continued into the reception with sprays on the signage, bar, and tables, adding softness without competing with the natural surroundings.
The details were thoughtful and intentional: floral-accented signage, touches of blue, and white parasols that were both beautiful and practical under the Tahoe sun. Every choice felt natural and personal, and their guests clearly felt it. Music flowed throughout the ceremony and reception, building into an energetic dance party later in the night. A photo booth with props kept everyone laughing, and guests went home with printed memories in hand.
THE COUPLE
Holli and Cat’s celebration felt like a true reflection of who they are and how they live their lives together. They both love being outdoors—trail running, cycling, and hiking—and it was clear how important it was for their wedding setting to honor that. Lake Tahoe holds deep meaning for them, and they thoughtfully designed a weekend that allowed their guests to experience both the lake and the mountains. The welcome party took place right on the water in Tahoe City, followed the next day by a ceremony and reception set in a quiet valley surrounded by towering mountains. Photographing that contrast—from lakeside serenity to mountain grandeur—was incredibly special.
