Avéline is magnificent 88-acre property, driven by the idyllic panoramic view from the summit. I had the pleasure of sitting with the charming pair who own the estate and their hospitality really did translate to the wedding day itself.
Some extra notes if planning your Avéline wedding: They only do a select number of events per year. The owners are extremely flexible with setup & clean up along with the ability to go until 11pm for a fee, which is extremely rare in Santa Cruz County.

Of course, much work had to be done, as the land was raw. Paul was, and still is, a full-time inventor and set out to design the most unique home in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Marion took inspiration from Lake Como and the French & Italian countrysides. Several years later, the masterpiece was finished and the family moved in. Since that time, Marion cultivated expansive gardens around the property. Although Avéline is grand, they still wanted it to feel organic, and so the gardens flow naturally around the edges of the incredible Grand Lawn.
