From the couple:

How We Met:

We met through mutual friends back in 2010. Dated for about six months and our relationship sparked after a giants game on June 2010! Stephen proposed at a miniature pig farm in northern CA. Alexis has an obsession with mini pigs and he surprised her with a day trip and a proposal!

Wedding Style:

We chose a white theme for a winter wonderland concept. All of the bridal party was in tuxedos and black long gowns. The wedding was formal. Brides dress was a classic, long lace sleeved, ivory Vera Wang dress. Plunging neck line with an open back. Very classic, and elegant. Earnings with dainty small diamond hoops from the groom, and beautiful ivory open toe heels with diamond straps around the ankle. The bridesmaids wore long strapless, Black gowns. Groomsmen wore tuxedos, with suspenders. And the groom wore a Vera Wang matching tux with an ivory jacket and black bow tie.

Wedding Florals:

White hydrangeas, White roses and an accent of light pink roses for the center pieces. They were absolutely beautiful, large and extremely elegant. Our flowers were incredible and tied the entire room together. The bouquets were bundles of fresh white roses. We chose the flowers based off our winter wonderland theme, and whimsical look.

The Ceremony:

It was in Alexis childhood church. We had a long elegant white runner down the center and the end of the isle had two large, decorative flower displays. Candles stood at the head of the alter and our songs are as follows: family walked down the isle to jesu, joy of mans desiring, bridal party: pachelbel in cannon D, bride: Jonathan Cain bridal March. The exit song was midsummer nights dream- wedding march.

The Reception:

Our reception was on the church grounds in the hall we had decorated and transformed. We had the ceremony in the church, cocktail hour for an hour afterwards in the small Richmond room and everyone made their way to the church hall around 530pm.

Venue:

The whole room was white, beautiful lace table clothes, clear chargers, silver chiavari chairs with a white cushion and incredible flower center piece. The head table was at the center of the room. Bride and groom sat in overly large “king and queen” thrones, with their bridal party of each side of the long rectangular table. Candles and flowers decorated the long table. They sat in front of the large white dance floor with an incredible chandelier handing above.

Reception:

Signature cocktails: his- whiskey ginger and hers- vodka cranberry. We also served Alexis’ father’s wine from his winery- Sola Wines. There were Irish dancers that came and surprised the wedding guests with four different traditional Irish dances, after they finished we opened up the dancing and got everyone on the floor with traditional Greek dancing! We had a photo booth as well! Alexis and Stephens first dance was to Ed Sheehan- Perfect. Tenley (Stephens daughter and Alexis step daughter) dances to- Tim McGraw’s my little girl.
