I knew I wanted to get married at this specific church because I passed the church as a child for years and always said that one day I wanted to get married there because of the beautiful stained glass windows as you can see in these Prince of Peace wedding photos. We wanted an elegant and classy wedding in which people would feel comfortable. We are Christian so we wanted our faith to be incorporated in the ceremony as well.

For the florals we chose White peonies, pink and white roses and white hydrangeas. The flowers were very important bc they were the most important part of the elegance of the wedding, so we had them everywhere in the church and the reception hall and the bouquets.

The music was personalized to some of our favorite hymns and songs-Great is Thy Faithfulness.

I wanted to look simple but elegant and beautiful. Same with the bridesmaids. My dress was white with lace and the bridesmaids wore mismatched steel blue dresses.

We met through friends at Bible study. He proposed at the Cheesecake Factory by putting the ring box where I would find it in my purse to surprise me. Walking down the aisle to my fiancé and seeing the look on his face as well as saying our vows. We got pre marital counseling, which I would recommend to everyone. I also highly recommend the knot.com
