From the couple: Scott & Hiromi met in downtown San Francisco. They got to know each other from there and it was a mutual agreement for their engagement. They liked the rustic feel of the Swedenborgian Church of San Francisco. They booked and built the theme of their wedding from there. Their wedding was a mostly casual affair since they decided to have a wedding that was small and intimate. They hired a floral designer, Asako Han, who is of Japanese descent and Hiromi decided on a very Japanese style floral design that was light and included many pale colors. The wedding photos at Swedenborgian Church of San Francisco were an important part of the day. The rustic vibe of the space and the elegant feel of the building were important to the couple as were the gorgeous Japanese floral creations provided by florist Asako Han. The dessert was also kept simple and sweet with the pretty and poppy bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Their reception was in the parish house of the church. It was a very simple and elegant setup. They relied a lot on the beautiful decor and architecture of the church as it was.
