From the couple:
We met at the University of Texas while both studying accounting. We got engaged in July 2017 after dating for almost 7 years at a ranch in Texas with the sun setting.
Wedding Rings:
Wynne made the entire ring process so easy by choosing her dream ring in only 2 visits. Wynne‘s wedding ring is a matching ring to her engagement ring.
David‘s wedding ring was his grandfather’s, which he got engraved with the date of his grandparent’s wedding and our wedding.
Theme:
We went for classic with rose gold and blush pink. Also, we had our pup. Everything was meant to be timeless. This came through perfectly in the wedding photos at Jefferson Street Mansion.
Wedding Styles:
Both the dress and tux were classic designs that will never go out of style. The bridesmaids wore dresses to match the overall theme and groomsmen also wore a classic tuxedo.
Wedding Florals:
Flowers were all assortments of pink and were Wynne‘s favorite flower, peonies. All other flowers were either a classic garden rose or similar flower and blended perfectly into the décor in a variety of shades of pink. The arch at the alter was completely covered in white roses and other flowers to perfectly accentuate the outdoor wedding.
Venue & Ceremony:
It was outdoors and had a very intimate feel. We loved our wedding photos at Jefferson Street Mansion. We wanted our officiant to be someone we knew well and who knew us well, so we had our brother-in-law officiate the wedding and he did an amazing job. Processional song was ‘Can’t help falling in love with you’ by VioDance and recessional song was ‘Here comes the sun’ by The Beatles.
Reception:
Reception was in a tent close by. Tables were all white, gold chargers and pink garden roses. Our signature cocktails were ‘The Lou’ for her, which was basically a Moscow mule but names after our pup, and the ‘Strong Island Iced Tea’, which was picked since David was born and raised on Long Island, NY.
