We wanted to use clear plastic chairs for modern feel which you can see in these Coyote Point wedding photos. We wanted to have no cultural or religious traditions.
Wedding Florals:
My sister and I made the flowers for the wedding, from centerpieces to ceremony arch decorations. It was fun picking out the flowers at SF flower market and putting them together. We will definitely be doing more flower arranging in the future as it’s a good creative outlet. I’ve discovered a new hobby!
Wedding Day:
The caricature artist was really good guest entertainment. Our favorite parts of the wedding were cute cake topper (that I made), cigars and pouring whiskey for our friends at each table (which allowed us to chat with everyone there), fire pit, and Karaoke in the family room on the big screen TV. My dress was vintage 20’s inspired.
Proposal:
The way that we got engaged was nothing too romantic. We were cooking together and I asked for the ring that we had picked out together in NY prior to moving to CA together. We had recently moved to CA and wanted to make it official! The wedding was lots of fun!
