A Love Poem For The Happy Couple:

“I love you for what you are, but I love you yet more for what you are going to be.
I love you not so much for your realities as for your ideals, I pray for your desires that they may be great, rather than for your satisfactions, which may be so hazardously little.
A satisfied flower is one whose petals are about to fall. The most beautiful rose is one hardly more than a bud wherein the pangs and ecstasies of desire are working for a larger and finer growth. Not always shall you be what you are now. You are going forward toward something great. I am on the way with you and therefore I love you.”

From the couple: Engagement was diamond solitaire, band compliments that, Craig’s is a regular band. I’m of Irish decent and Craig always called me his Gaelic princess, and we both were born in the Bay Area so the redwoods were fitting. I went with classic with my green color tied in and a Celtic theme with my necklace and braids in my hair. We went by color with the flowers but they turned out better than expected! Processional was ‘Hoppipola’ by Sigur Ros and recessional was ‘Chasing Cars’ by Snow Patrol. Arbor was decorated in vines, other than that it was a regular ceremony. We both were born in the Bay Area and have lived here a long time, so we both like the redwoods. We made the centerpieces tying in our colors and outdoorsy theme. Try not to stress too much.
