The wedding day
The weather wound up being perfect for a La Playa Hotel Wedding in December. Thankfully there are so many beautiful spots around La Playa to take our couple.

Liz & Adrienne wanted a winter wedding, and so they incorporated some elements of the holidays (green and white flowers, a few holiday songs on the violin, etc.). They loved the old school vibe of their venue and the gardens where the ceremony was, so they wanted to incorporate some old-school elements like the speakeasy afterparty. They also added in elements of their beloved cats into the signature drinks. Violin/guitar duo for ceremony and cocktail hour. We really liked a lot of it, especially the santa hat reception items and the afterparty.Both of us wore white gowns, champagne gowns for bridesmaids. Attire was black-tie optional, so floor length gowns that looked elegant.Do the Bud’s afterparty, and get the same cocktail hour appetizers that we got!We did many things last-minute and it all worked out, so just know that everything will work out. That and get really good planners, they were so helpful.Three-tier and lightly textured white cake!Both brides wore white gowns, champagne gowns for bridesmaids.
