From the couple:

We didn’t have a theme for our wedding. Wanting to keep it simple and elegant while also highlighting the multicultural aspect of our families merging. We mostly did everything ourselves with the color burgundy as the main inspiration.

Our ceremony was outdoors with the reception in a beautiful ballroom at the Blackhawk Country Club. We didn’t spent too much time on fashion design, just focusing on the stuff that really mattered to us. Most importantly, we really wanted our guests to just enjoy themselves and keep it very casual and light. Just wanted to have a fun party with our loved ones.

To cut costs we utilized 75% of fake carnation flowers for center pieces and the bouquets were a combination of roses and carnations to match the color theme. Cost was one of the factors considered so we found the most beautiful options that stayed within our budget. We did little detailed touches on certain things to individualize the décor like including short sentences of our love story in the drink menu.

Our favorite part of the evening was Cocktail hour. We both love cocktails and having great laughs with friend and family.
