From the couple:
Brenden and I met at my matron of honor’s birthday about 10 years ago. The last thing I remember from that night, was him taking care of me. Brenden’s ring was his dad’s wedding ring, who passed away shortly after we got engaged in 2017. My engagement ring is a cushion cut diamond set in a rose gold pave band. The matching wedding band is also in rose gold but has 5 round diamonds.
Wedding Style:
We chose a very unique style for our wedding. I like to call it “Rustic Glam”. I knew I that I wanted to stay classic with the silhouette of my dress and the general feel of the wedding but with a small twist. Also, I had always envisioned that I would wear a gold gown and have my bridesmaids wear ivory to match with the gold.
The groomsman matched the bridesmaids colors. And for the groom, I knew I wanted him to also stand out next to me. He wore a two-tone suite, with white jacket, black lapels and black pants to complete the classic look which you can see in our Elliston Vineyards Wedding Photos.
Florals:
For our florals we stayed true with the theme and feel of the whole wedding by using a lot of greeneries, white flowers and as a twist, berries and kale flowers. We really loved the backdrop of the waterfall feature of the garden area along with all the trees and greenery, so we decided to opt out of the gazebo and use the steps leading up to the mansion to really feature us to our families and friends.
Wedding Day:
We decided to go with a harpist who played “love me like you do” by Ellie Goulding for the bridal party and a “thousand years” when I walked down the aisle. We had an amazing black and white photo booth to add to that rustic glam theme we were aiming for. Brenden and I love boba, so during cocktail hour, we offered our favorite boba drinks. Classic Black Tea as the bride’s pick and Mango Black Tea from the groom. A harpist also played modern music which added a touch of elegance to the whole reception.
