We built my entire look off of my handmade head piece, which was kind of bohemian and vintage. I picked a simple ivory lace dress that was comfortable and not too heavy; we’re not used to hot weather.

He is a country boy from Willows, CA. I am a city girl from Chicago. We met working for Princess Cruise Lines in Alaska and we never left! We’ve been together for nearly 10 years with our two dogs.

We had a “wine ceremony” where we mixed a glass of red with a glass of white, then we drank the united blush glass of wine together.

We did not waste money on centerpieces, but we did have some amazing chocolate and personalized wine corks for favors. It was all so perfect!

We didn’t want to have the typical reception and dancing, so we just went wine tasting at a beautiful castle then had a gourmet dinner in a cottage with our closest friends and family!

As for any advice for other couples on their big day… Don’t get too tipsy on your wedding day!!
