We met while attending college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He was a frat boy, I was a sorority girl.

We were quick friends but it wasn’t until a couple years later that our relationship became romantic.

A volunteering event brought us together and neither could have predicted how our relationship would evolve.

After a year of dating in college, we graduated and got jobs in the bay area where we both grew up. Everything just kind of fell into place.

After 8 months of living with our parents, we took a risk and decided to buy a house together. Luckily, that didn’t tear us apart but instead brought us closer together.

After 4 years of dating, Shane popped the question during a romantic weekend trip to San Francisco.

It was very unexpected (I didn’t even get a manicure before) and overwhelming. I of course said yes 🙂

Walking down the isle with my dad and seeing Shane at the end waiting for me was so special.

The big day came quicker than expected.

I wore an updated version of my mom’s original wedding dress which was made by my grandma 20 something years earlier.

The venue, Saratoga Foothill Club, was gorgeous and fit our guests perfectly.

Our bridal party was incredible and looked beautiful in lavender and grey.

The speeches were so touching and witty.

Our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be: simple, romantic and fun.

We loved celebrating with all of our family and friends. Everything was simply amazing!

We can now check the marriage box and we can’t wait for what’s ahead 🙂

Our year and a half engagement was very enjoyable minus a few stressful decisions. The big day came quicker than expected. Following a week of rain, May 16th was a beautiful sunny day in Saratoga, California. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted it to be: simple, romantic and fun.
