Our wedding, on September 13th 2014, was the happiest day of our lives!  We were surrounded by family and friends who were all there to celebrate the beginning of our journey together.

The ladies started the day with champagne and brunch in the bridal suite – Christina, her bridesmaids, our mothers and her closest friends.

Dev and the guys opted for hiking through the woods for the morning and a pit stop at Cinnabon … keeping it classy.

we knew that we wanted an outdoor wedding and our home sweet home in the Bay Area would be perfect!

Ardenwood had the feeling of being nestled away in the woods, and we knew that on the beautiful autumn evening of our wedding, it would be magical.

Under the boughs of a picture-perfect tree, we had our ceremony, part-Hindu, part-Catholic, with a flock of peacocks strolling around the lawn.

Our dreams came true the day of the wedding!

Under the twinkling market lights, we danced away the night to an amazing live band, were toasted by friends and family and kicked off our marriage in style.

In the end, we wouldn’t have changed anything and boy are we glad the planning is over!  Our wedding is a memory we will cherish forever.

I would highly recommend Jonathon and Apollo Fotografie to anyone looking for that great combination of beautiful artistry and the logistics to make you worry-free on your wedding day!

Our wedding, on September 13th 2014, was the happiest day of our lives!  We were surrounded by family and friends who were all there to celebrate the beginning of our journey together.  The year of planning paid off! We got engaged in Bali while sharing breakfast overlooking a lush ravine.  Once we returned, we celebrated with our close family back east at our engagement party over the holidays.  Though it was a perfect day, warm and sunny, we knew that we wanted an outdoor wedding and our home sweet home in the Bay Area would be perfect!
After much hunting, we strolled into Ardenwood Historic Farm and immediately were in love with it.  While incredibly accessible to our guests, Ardenwood had the feeling of being nestled away in the woods, and we knew that on the beautiful autumn evening of our wedding, it would be magical.
Our dreams came true the day of the wedding!  The ladies started the day with champagne and brunch in the bridal suite – Christina, her bridesmaids, our mothers and her closest friends.  Dev and the guys opted for hiking through the woods for the morning and a pit stop at Cinnabon … keeping it classy.  Once we were all decked out in our Indian formal wear, we had a gorgeous first look at Ardenwood and the day just kept speeding up from there. Our ceremony took place outside of the gorgeous Patterson House, a Victorian-era mansion with an expansive lawn out front.  Under the boughs of a picture-perfect tree, we had our ceremony, part-Hindu, part-Catholic, with a flock of peacocks strolling around the lawn.  Afterwards, our guests headed to a cocktail reception, while we changed into our suit and gown for the night of dancing and revelry ahead.  Under the twinkling market lights, we danced away the night to an amazing live band, were toasted by friends and family and kicked off our marriage in style. In the end, we wouldn’t have changed anything and boy are we glad the planning is over!  Our wedding is a memory we will cherish forever. ~Christina & Dev
